K N O W Genesis 3 : 1 (Satan)

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

Where did the serpent, later called the devil, come from? Some ask, “How could a God of love create someone as horrible as the devil?” The very question is accusatory: Why would God create someone as evil as Satan? The obvious implication is that God made a very poor decision. But let’s clarify the issue. God did not create the devil; He created a spirit being known as Lucifer, the son of the morning, a very powerful angel (Is. 14:12). But Lucifer wanted to be more than an angel. He wanted to rule as God, so he rebelled against the Lord using the free will that God had given to him. So when Lucifer rebelled against God, he became Satan or the devil. The devil became what he is by his own volition; God did not create the devil. But God certainly allowed it to happen. For more about Satan, see Gen. 3:5.
