K N O W Genesis 24 : 7 (Heaven)

What is heaven? Heaven is the dwelling place of God. In a broad sense, God is everywhere. He is omnipresent. But in another sense, God dwells in heaven in all of His glory. And so we long for heaven, which is really a longing for God. We long to be with God and see God. If God were to show Himself to us today in all His glory, we would disintegrate on the spot. Why? Because God is perfect and flawless and holy. And we are imperfect and flawed and unholy. But the day is coming when you and I will see God, which will be like seeing everything else for the first time. Not only will we see God, but He will be the lens through which we will see everything: people, ourselves, and the events of this life. I will finally get it and say, “Now I understand.” For more about Heaven, see Gen. 28:17.
