Victory Band

The Victory Band is the praise and worship team of Victory Temple and with some members coming from other churches (Tagbilaran City, Bohol). The Victory Band worship team begun its ministry in 1999 during one of the church services and the team received a prophetic word from one of the guest speakers. The prophecy was foretelling that the team would go to different places in Visayas and Mindanao leading praise and worship in churches and bringing revival through worship.

The band members were originally composed of its band leader and main composer, Jonathan S. Trigo, along with other composers. Mr. Martin S. Bueno, managed the band’s non-church activities.

Most of the worship songs are composed by Jonathan Trigo and arrangements are done by the rest of the band members before each formal recording sessions. Jonathan had already compiled most of the songs and are used in worship services in most of the churches before they were formally recorded.

By the year 2010, the band recorded their first album, Awit sa Gugma. That was 11 years after its original composition and was released in 2010. The song’s message of God’s love touched millions of people and was sung during church worships and in revival crusades. Most of the songs are in Cebuano dialect and can be easily adapted by different churches.

Up to date, Victory Band had already released five major Albums namely, Awit sa Gugma (2010), Dili Makawang (2012), Hangtud May Kinabuhi (2014) and Handumon Ko (2016), and Bayawon ka (2018). The songs were deeply anointed by God that it reached different churches in different places in Visayas and Mindanao, and even outside philippines through social media, bringing the prophecy to fulfilment.

Victory band had series of concerts and Revival Worships all throughout Visayas and Mindanao.
